Aircraft Management
Airworthiness Management (Part M)
Eurocopter UK is approved as a Continuous Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). This enables Eurocopter UK to enter into a contract with customers to provide a full Airworthiness Management support package to assist customers with ensuring that their aircraft comply with the current aviation regulations set out under EASA, FAA, CAA or other Airworthiness Authorities when applicable.
Airworthiness Management Services:
There are many facets to the Airworthiness Management services which Eurocopter UK can provide.
A sample of these services are explained below:
- Technical Records Management
An aircraft is supplied with a set of airworthiness records which form the history of the aircraft. When maintenance is completed on the aircraft, these records must be updated to reflect the maintenance carried including the recording of all components replaced. Eurocopter UK has a dedicated team that can administer the aircraft records on behalf of our customers.
- Aircraft Maintenance Programme
Owner/operators must maintain their aircraft on an Approved Aircraft Maintenance programme to satisfy the current aviation regulations in place. Eurocopter UK can develop an Aircraft Maintenance Programme tailored to meet the aircraft configuration to assist customers in managing this aspect for their aircraft.
- Aircraft Maintenance Tracking
Eurocopter UK employs a comprehensive IT system to track the maintenance requirements of aircraft. The system can generate various reports using aircraft flight utilisation data to monitor inspection requirements and forecast maintenance due on the aircraft based on this utilisation. This tool enables Eurocopter UK to plan the maintenance inspections with customers to ensure aircraft availability is optimised to suit customers’ operational needs.
- Safety Data Review
Aviation authorities and OEM’s continual review aircraft product and components and when required, distribute safety information in the form of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletin, Information notices etc. Eurocopter UK can review the information supplied by and on behalf of a customer to determine if there is an impact on their Aircraft and implement any actions that may be required to assist customers in the safe operation of their Aircraft.
